Big Buck World Championship

3,449 IMAGES | 91,050 LIVE VIEWS | 88,418 IMPRESSIONS

For Big Buck World Championship XV, held over two days in Chicago in the Fall of 2022, we built a photo booth using our proprietary tech into a decommissioned Big Buck Hunter Pro arcade cabinet. The guns were wired as triggers for the camera, with the camera shooting through a two-way mirror where the CRT TV used to be. A fabric mural depicting an actual competition site used in the video game was printed and set up as the background. Images layered with the client’s logos and event information were accessible to users in an online gallery reached by scanning a QR code located at the cabinet, and displayed live in the competition venue on a large projection screen. Self-Portraits were also ported at times to a live Twitch feed covering the competition, reaching an audience of almost one hundred thousand over the course of the two-day competition. The 3,449 portraits captured using our photo booth were posted in a user-friendly, online gallery for participants, as well as a Dropbox folder for the client, for use in social media and other promotional purposes.
