Barneys x Thom Browne

Our collaboration with Barneys New York continued in the Fall of 2018, this time in support of their partnership with Thom Browne. Located on the 4th floor of the flagship store, we activated two photo mirrors — one in the Men’s section and one in the Women’s section. We worked closely with Barneys’ creative team in conceptualizing and realizing the designs of the mirrors, as well as the Thom Browne-themed backgrounds — one of which featured a canine character from the short, original film “Anatomy of a Suit” playing on repeat within the activation. We also worked with the team on designing custom borders for the photos, as well as including the hashtag #THOMBROWNEXBARNEYS to every shared image. Guided by vinyl decals located centrally on the photo mirrors and surrounding columns, participants used the nearby button remotes and mirrors to take their own photos on their own terms. Participants could then share the images to themselves using an iPad mounted by the mirror running our custom app with opt-in waiver language.
